When I came to Dr M, she helped me to develop a new sense of consciousness.
“To me, my depression was a condition in which I was both a suffering prisoner and the cruel jailer. My life seemed like a vast vacuum, empty for miles in every direction, which I thought due to my own inadequacies- I was too boring, too shallow, too stupid, too ugly, just not enough to lead an interesting life like everyone else. I sleepwalked through each day, overwhelmed by menial responsibilities and unable to experience any sense of emotion. I refused to accept that I was anything other than a victim who had drawn the short stick and got handed a sub-par life, as if my life constructed me and not the other way round. When I came to Dr M, she helped me to develop a new sense of consciousness and an awareness of how backwards my outlooks and behaviors really were. We worked together to create a balance in my life that helped tremendously, giving me a better sense of proportion and awareness of the importance of mental attitude. She was always kind, supportive, and helpful, never pushing me more than I needed to be pushed and always giving me the right tools I needed to “fix” whatever my problem of the week was. I now feel infinitely more capable- she taught me that life doesn’t just happen to you, you create it yourself.”
